Jennifer Long, Owner, RYT 200
Jennifer received her initial training at CorePower Yoga in Minneapolis. She has been practicing yoga since 2005, but the discovery of Hot Yoga brought her love to a whole new level. She embraced not only the practice, but also a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Since opening Santosha Hot Yoga in 2011, she has expanded her knowledge by studying with different teachers in Power Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga. She believes in using yoga to strengthen and open the body while calming the mind.
Kendra began practicing Yoga in 2000, as an alternative to workouts on game days during high school. This practice has been an assignment, then a hobby, then a side job, and now a career. She has been teaching since 2007 and offers a variety of classes for all ages and intentions. Currently, Kendra is pursuing her 500 hour teaching certification and credits continuing education for igniting a new passion for inversions and helping people find strength in places other than their feet!
When not at the studio, Kendra can be found at home with her husband and daughter, handstanding in the hallway or working as a Licensed Massage Therapist, a massage therapy instructor at Globe University, and as an Independent Consultant with Arbonne International. Catch her if you can, for class, for a massage, or just to chat. In her classes, Kendra likes to emphasize the importance of ‘focusing on the feel, rather than how it looks.’
Strength, playfulness, and improved range of motion are a few of the things that you might find in one of Chris Coughlin's yoga classes at SHY. From Chris you can expect an encouraging guide to your practice that keeps the room fun as well as challenging. Chris loves cracking stupid jokes almost as much as he loves helping individuals to work past limits that keep them stuck in the same spot. Chris can be found teaching Hot Yoga, Vinyasa, AcroYoga, or Hot Power Fusion; and you may see him taking ant variety of class with you - as long as he's not busy napping.
Originally from Rhode Island, Rachael graduated from South Dakota State University. She first found her passion for physical fitness at a young age, competing in track and field meets when she was just five years old. After running both cross country and track & field in college, Rachael was introduced to group fitness and yoga in the fall of 2013 when she became certified and started teaching in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Rachael fell in love with the intense burn of a yoga workout and even better, the rush of calmness that set in afterwards. Yoga allows Rachael to push herself in a way she has never before experienced, giving new meaning to her practice.
Rachael has competed in marathons, several half marathons, and actively participates in various competitions such as duathlons and sprint triathlons. Rachael enjoys photography, a good glass of wine, and reading! She lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with her husband, her dog Rhody, and two cats.

Tracy Kallheim joined Santosha Hot Yoga in December 2012 after suffering one of many injuries from running over the years. She had also fell in love with yoga and has since finished her RYT 200 Instructor Certification.
Tracy grew up in Minnesota, came to college in South Dakota to run Cross Country and Track. Running in college also contributed to her early interest in Anatomy, Athletics and Injury Prevention/Rehabilitation. While in Vermillion, she earned a Bachelors in Athletic Training and Masters in Physiology/Sports Psychology. She spent 12 years as an Athletic Trainer at the high school and college settings, including teaching in the AT program at Augustana College. Meeting her husband Tryg Odney at that time. they have been married 15 years.
After her first two children arrived, she made a quick career change and completed her BS in Nursing, followed closely with two more children. She then completed her Masters in Nursing, becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Working in a high intensity setting with high intensity running as her past time, helped guide Tracy to her yoga practice, the balance she has found is calming, grounding, and rewarding for herself, her family and her patients.
Over the years Tracy has been involved in multiple group and individual training situations, she trained injured athletes for return to play and guided all with prevention techniques and conditioning.
Tracy’s favorite past times still include running, eight marathons, multiple 13.1, 10K, and 5K races over the last 30 years, EATING to fuel the running, and yoga to balance the mind/body. Tracy looks forward to sharing her passion for yoga in multiple formats, guiding others with fitness goals and practicing with those who have inspired her.
